What a rough morning! I truly understand why God gave kids parents. I had to fuss at my 9 year old this morning for not applying herself while doing homework. I'm grateful to be a hands on mom. I really want them to be the best. I think it's time to cut down television time and increase study time. Parenting is not a science!! You learn on the job. My oldest I like to call my experimental child. Every experience with her is a new one. My other children fortunately learn from experience.

Don't sleep on Goodwill
Yesterday on my way home from school I decided to stop at Goodwill. I love shopping there. Over the past few months I have scored quite a bit of stuff from there. I sew in my spare time, of which I do not have much. So I buy nice pillowcases and sheets and fabric from there, but that's not what I was getting at. So...I went in there yesterday to find Halloween costumes for my kid's. I was going to make them, but my plate is already full with all the other stuff I need to do everyday. Anyhoo, I ended up buying a really cute blazer that I can't wait to wear, and a food processor, WHICH i got for $7.50. YES!!! $7.50 and it works great. I always wanted one. I have a really small one but it doesn't do what this one does. and the capacity is larger. Last week I bought a TV for my daughters room, also for $7.50. Depending on what the discount color tag is, you can score a lot of stuff. The have men's t-shirts for 99 cents and turn them into dresses for my girls. Can't beat that, a cute dress for 99 cents, of course it requires a little bit of my time, but I am saving quite a bit of money on clothes.
